What we do
nurturie provides individualized pediatric occupational therapy where children live, learn, and grow, including at home, at school, and throughout the community.
We serve families across Fairfield County, Connecticut, as well as Manhattan, Brooklyn, Jersey City, and Hoboken.
How we can help
Children don't always show up with an obvious “occupational therapy” concern.
Families may notice challenges in everyday activities, school participation, play, or routines. Occupational therapy looks at the underlying skills that may be contributing to those difficulties.
Skill-Focused Small Groups
We offer small, OT-led groups for 2–4 children focused on building specific developmental and school-based skills.
Families can join an upcoming group or create their own by gathering a few friends with similar interests or skill areas. Groups may focus on body awareness, handwriting and written expression, or kindergarten readiness.
Small group sizes allow for individualized guidance while giving children opportunities to learn, practice, and build confidence alongside peers. These groups are designed as focused skill-building experiences and are not a replacement for individualized OT when one-on-one treatment is more appropriate.
A brief group-readiness screening is completed before enrollment to help ensure the group is a good fit for each child!
